The “Olympic Distance” triathlons are fun too. After 25 miles of riding a bike up and down hills, for the first mile of the run you feel as if your legs are made of rubber because the blood is still in the cycling muscles.

Thanks, Gasdocpol, I know the run is the killer. My feet nearly gave away after the bike and I need to concentrate on the running a lot more. Do you know any good online guide for the sprint to olympic upgrade?

Who is the photographer who so deftly captured you in midstride flying over the ground during transition? Interesting that we know you came in 6th in your category as that is stated but if you count the number of male first timers before you on the list, you would be number 7. why is that? Also, the blog on Frodeno keeps crashing on me. . .any knowledge as to why?

You did it, Pavel, you finally made it. A big, hearty ‘congratulations’ to you. I’m sure it was not easy but it is something that you will never forget. I wish you told me in advance, I would have cheered you on :)
