Rev Wright refuses to apologize for his views with relish

April 29, 2008

ClipPlayer.aspx?id=65a58b24-37be-47c0-918d-b8bb6bd217abIn a scathing attack to his detractors Rev. Jeremiah Wrigth not only refused to apologize to anybody for his sermons over the years and his views on Lois Farrakhan, but also upped the ante with his speech at the National Press Club on Monday morning. Some excerpts from his speech are:

“I feel that those citizens who say that have never heard my sermons, nor do they know me. They are unfair accusations taken from sound bites and that which is looped over and over on certain channels. I served six years in the military. Does that make me patriotic? How many years did Cheney serve?”

he further promised to go after Sen. Obama should he get elected as the President for representing a system that disadvantages the poor.
